The IEEE Italy Section Consumer Electronics Society Chapter is soliciting technical papers for oral and poster presentations at the 23rd annual conference, IEEE ISCT International Symposium on Consumer Technologies (former International Symposium on Consumer Electronics) that takes place in Ancona, Italy on 19th – 21st June 2019. ISCT is the established forum for innovative research in all technology areas of consumer electronics.

Information for Authors

Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished manuscripts of 2- to 6 page length. Previously published papers or papers under review for other conferences/journals should not be submitted for consideration.

Authors may prepare original work of maximum 6 pages with a 200-word abstract using double-column IEEE conference-format template.

All accepted papers must comply with IEEE format specifications and signed IEEE copyright form, to be submitted to IEEE Xplore database.

City of Ancona

Ancona is the administrative centre of the province and of the Marche region. It overlooks the Adriatic Sea and it has got one of the biggest italian harbours as well as several beaches. It is a city of art, with an historical down town full of monuments and with a thousand years old history; it's one of the most important economic centres of the region and the biggest town in dimensions and population.

Mole Vanvitelliana

The building was built starting in 1732 as part of the renovation and expansion of the port of Ancona decided by Pope Clement XXII (Cardinal Lorenzo Corsini: 1652-1740), designed the papal designer, the architect Luigi Vanvitelli; these, after making an inspection trip to Italy, Ancona began work on the project, providing it with particularly innovative architectural and urban values. The imposing building, which extends for almost twenty thousand square meters, was designed according to the urban reorganization of Ancona along the coast to the south. Its original use was as a hospital (Laemocomium), quarantine, the forced isolation period lasting 40 days for people and goods that arrived by sea from the East, in order to prevent the spread of epidemics.

The nearest airport is “Raffaello Sanzio” in Falconara, 19 km from Ancona. From here it is possible to reach Ancona by public transport or by taxi.

The railway station (Ancona) is a 1 km from the town centre and 800m from the venue of the ISCT conference.

There are taxi and bus services in front of the station, connecting you to the whole town and neighbouring villages.

Port of Ancona is a few metres from the town centre and the ISCT location conference.

Car

Ancona, is on the Adriatic coast, motorway A14/E55, exit “Ancona Nord”. The A14/E55 connects Ancona to the whole of Italy.
